Probably a silly question, but has anyone here ever had a DMCA takedown against a file on a filehost? DF emailed me to tell me someone has filed a DMCA takedown against me, and that I can counter-claim. I think we all know I won't counter claim...
Do they ever contact your ISP? Have any DMCA's ever lead to people being taken to court, or do they just leave it as long as the file is removed? DF have "blocked" the file.
What makes me laugh is that they were blocking only x amount of files and left others there which are part of the same site and model. Seems bizarre.
Your thoughts?
